Cubitt Gallery presents Walk-Through, a new film by British artist Redmond Entwistle set in the California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles. The film explores the site, design and philosophy of CalArts as a starting point for posing wider questions about contemporary pedagogical models and their relationship to new forms of social, political and economic exchange that have emerged since the 1970s.

Junction: North London Cultural Consortium is a collaboration between arts organisations in North London, including Cubitt Gallery, Camden Arts Centre, The Place, Wellcome Collection, Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, UAL and UCLH NHS Foundation Trust Hospital Trust, offering a new platform from which to support and develop artists' projects. The Consortium will combine the strength of its members to make a significant contribution to the cultural landscape of London and King's Cross in particular.

New Curatorial Bursary holder

Cubitt Gallery is pleased to announce that Jamie Stevens has been appointed as the eighth Cubitt Curatorial Bursary Holder.

Jamie is currently Exhibitions & Events Organiser at Chisenhale Gallery and is co-editor of publishing project Benedictions.  Jamie's programme will start in the autumn.

Cubitt's Curatorial Bursary supports young curators testing out their vision and practice over an 18-month period.  Previous bursary holders include Polly Staple (Director, Chisenhale Gallery); Emily Pethick (Director, The Showroom); David Bussel (independent curator), Tom Morton (co-curator, British Art Show 7), Bart van der Heide (Director, Kunstverein Munich);  and Michelle Cotton (Senior Curator, firstsite Colchester). 

Current Bursary Holder Fiona Parry's programme continues with Redmond Entwistle's new film Walk-Through showing until 17 June.
